The COM Express-System CXB-CD945 comes with innovative security functions that prevent unauthorized manipulation, misuse, or illegal copying of data and software. In addition to the TrustedCore-BIOS from Phoenix Technologies, the TPM 1.2-Chip (Trusted Platform Module) by Infineon has been implemented on the module. The module, based on the Mobile Intel®-Chipset 945GME, offers a wide selection of interfaces and expansion capabilities. Aside from a PCI Express x16-interface und four PCI-Express x1-interfaces, eight USB 2.0 ports are available for communication with peripheral equipment. Through an optional Intel® 82573 GBit LAN-Controller, a fast 10 / 100 / 1000 Base TX-LAN-network connection can be established. Large data volumes can be stored using the two SATA II-connections transfer rates up to 300MB/s. ACPI battery management and a watchdog timer are also implemented on the COM Express module.
