With the debug version of the PSoC™ chip can the kit directly be connected to an ICE-Cube (available in the optional CY3215-DK) for full-featured in-circuit emulation and debugging.

The kit includes a MiniProg programming unit for programming PSoC™ devices directly on the evaluation board or on other boards via a 5-pin header via USB.
The C-Compiler (CY3202-C) is fully integrated into PSoC Designer which is part of the the kit and can be enabled by purchasing a license.

To make the first steps with USB applications, John Hyde has included several ready to use projects and examples for PC host and this kit with an application note, PSoC™-Based USB Device Design By Example. Within a day can the user implement many of his latent USB product ideas with this kit.

About CY8C24794 (PSoC™ with FS USB)
The configurable analog and digital hardware blocks give the PSoC™ architecture a unique flexibility. The User Module gives the option of constructing a HID based device or a generic USB 2.0 Device. Additionally an USB Setup Wizard enables easy USB descriptor construction.
Ideally suited to realize sensor applications and send data via USB.
