The PS9587 device is a high-speed optocoupler with a digital open collector output. A maximum propagation delay time of 75 ns and a pulse width distortion of less than 10 ns enable the transfer of data of up to 10 Mbit/s speed. The PS9587 is ideally suited for industrial communication lines that require maximum transfer of data speeds as well as a high level of isolation. At the same time, NEC Electronics presents the PS9552 device, its first optically isolated IGBT driver. This optocoupler provides the transfer of data of up to 1 Mbit/s speed, up to 2.5 A output current, an operating voltage of 15 to 30 V as well as an extended operating temperature range of -40 to +100°C. The PS9552 is ideally suited for the direct drive of IGBT and MOSFET gates. The PS9552L2-AX version of the optocoupler is compatible with HCNW-3120. Finally, the PS9513 provides the transfer of data of up to 1 Mbit/s speed and is ideally suited for IPM drives and industrial inverters. All optocouplers are available in different package options either for through-hole or surface mount. They are fully RoHS-compliant and use nickel-palladium-gold as lead-free pin plating material. The new PS85/95 family of optocouplers complies with current international safety certificates such as UL, VDE etc. Samples are available now from Gleichmann Electronics.
