MSC Vertriebs GmbH presents unique SMD rectifier solution for VDE0110 / IEC60664 applications

EIC has developed three new fast recovery rectifiers that are designed for use in high voltage applications and offered in the surface mount DO-215AC package - SMA but with gull wing leads.
The specification and structure of these products make them an ideal solution for UPS and Frequency Converters. In such applications designers are traditionally using components in axial packages in order to comply with the DIN VDE0110 / IEC60664 standard which requires a creepage and clearance distance of 4.5mm between the two conducting leads.

EIC is responding to the ever increasing need of using surface mounted components by supplying three rectifiers in the DO-215AC gull wing surface mount package. This package is designed with a lead clearance > 6.0mm offering full compliance to the VDE standard.
Three rectifiers are available up to now, GR15-G, GR20-G and SS1M-G. All are RoHs compliant.
