Titel: NEC: Optocouplers for operation at up to 110°C ambient temperature Date: 22.04.2008
Ideally suited for applications in switched mode power supplies and automation systems:

Stutensee, Germany - April 22, 2008 — Gleichmann Electronics announces immediate availability of NEC Electronics’ PS2561B high temperature optocoupler for operation at up to 110°C ambient temperature.

The PS2561B device features a high isolation voltage of 5000 Viso. In addition, the optocoupler is suitable for input currents from 1mA to 5mA. Output collector to emitter voltages of up to 80V can be applied and maximum output current is 50mA.

The device comes in a dual in-line package (DIP) and is optionally available as a surface mount device (SMD) version or a through-hole version.

The current offering of high temperature optocouplers is complemented with the PS2761B-1 in small-outline package (SOP) with 2.54 mm pin-pitch and an isolation voltage of 3750 V as well as the PS2861B-1 in shrink small-outline package (SSOP) with 1.27 mm pin-pitch and 2500 Viso.

All high temperature optocouplers are RoHS compliant and also conform to international safety certificates such as UL, CSA, BSI, SEMKO, NEMKO, DEMKO, FIMKO and VDE.

The PS2561B-1 and PS2761B-1 optocouplers are available immediately. Availability of samples of the PS2861B-1 is planned from May 2008.
