ECO920 / BOB920
ARM9 solutions for Linux and WindowsCE™
Are you looking for a ready-to-use ARM9 board solution with a supported BSP?
Take a look at MSC’s ECO920 module and BOB920 Development Kit.
ECO920 Philosophy

Based on ATMEL’s AT91RM9200 200 MIPS ARM920T MCU, ECO920 will give you a slim and cost effective solution for your series production.
Reduced to a minimum system with memory and fine pitch connectors with all relevant bus and port signals, you can plug this core module on your application specific baseboard. Together with the breakout board BOB920 and board support packages for Linux and WindowsCE™ you can start your project without delay.

In Linux version of BSP a complete development system based on Eclipse, customized kernels, bootloader and current GNU toolchains for the target ‘arm-linux’ are available.

ECO920 Basic Features
  • 48 x 65 mm² 8-layer PCB, EMI compliant
  • ATMEL AT91RM9200-QI, 180MHz

Linux based ARM9 Development System Embedded Linux

Platform comes with latest version of tools. Root File System includes drivers for Ethernet, serial ports and USB Host. Additional device drivers can be developed versus payment.

GNU toolchain (GCC, GDB libraries and header files) , Eclipse IDE, preconfigured kernel, bootloader and root file system in flash and documentation are provided. Registered users can download latest Linux kernel from FTP server.
WindowsCE™ BSP (additional product)

WinCE 5.0 BSP includes drivers for Ethernet, serial ports and USB host. Microsoft Embedded Visual Tools™ are required. Professional support is available.

ECO920 SDK is a collection of libraries and header files necessary for application development on ECO920 platform.
Flash’n Go is an utility to connect and configure your platform and run your application. Firmware-updates can be done by a ‘click’.
Ready to go Bios is a more than a typical bootloader. You can make SW update form SD-cards or TFTP servers.
