Embedded – More Flexibility
Using Single-Board Computers for the design of application-specific systems
results in the utmost flexibility with respect to different performance classes,
physical form factors and variable input/output configurations. Simple
integration, flexible upgrades and easy installation are the resulting
advantages. With scalable system performance the path is paved for the optimal
solution – ready for the market, straight-forward and economic.

MSC ARM Modules
The ARM processor core range provides solutions for open platforms in
wireless, consumer and imaging applications, embedded real-time systems for
storage, automotive, industrial and networking applications, and secure
applications for smart cards and SIM cards.
MSC offers ARM modules based on a common architecture and delivering high
performance together with low power consumption and system cost. ARM modules are
plugged onto an application-specific base board by high-density SMD connectors.
The combination of a standardized ARM module and a base board designed for the
specific requirements of the application enables a flexible, configurable system
platform with scalable performance.

|
|
The design of the MSC ARM modules supports Samsung’s S3C2410x 16/32 bit RISC
microprocessor with ARM920T core.
For design-in and evaluation of the ARM modules an evaluation base board is
available, which supplies a wide range of standard interfaces.
Starter Kits and Board Support Packages with Bootloader for Windows CE® .NET
and Linux® are available.
