S3F401F – 16/32-bit microcontroller for motor controls
Gleichmann Electronics presents Samsung’s new S3F401F 16/32-bit microcontroller (MCU) in Hall 9, Booth 235 at embedded world 2009. The S3F401F MCU is ideally suited for simple and cost sensitive motor control applications.
The MCU, based on the ARM7TDMI core and clocked at 90 MHz, offers designers in addition to 256 Kbyte flash memory and 20 Kbyte RAM a large number of special motor control peripheral functions such as e.g. fifteen 12-bit analog to digital converters that enable a synchronous conversion of up to three values. Two each 16-bit encoder and 3-phase timers ensure a flexible and precise control of motors. Furthermore, the MCU is equipped with two each buffered UART and SPI interfaces.
The S3F401F is specified for an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and is provided in a 100-pin QFP. Data sheets and samples are available now from Gleichmann Electronics.
