Starter Kit for Designs with COM Express Type 6 Pin-out

The innovative starter kit for COM Express^™ Type 6 modules represents a complete, ready-to-run environment for this new range of Computer-on-Modules (COM) with the latest interface standard.  Compared to the previous Type 2 pin-out definition the main innovations can be found in the support of USB 3.0 and up to three configurable Digital Display Interfaces (DDI) for DisplayPort and HDMI/DVI. The kit contains a COM Express Type 6 baseboard, a heat sink with fan, two 4-Gbyte DDR3 memory modules, a Quick Starting Guide and driver support.

Users of the kit are free to order any suitable COM Express Type 6 computer module from MSC’s growing portfolio with the kit.
