The World´s Fastest Single Core ADCs

From Price competitive solutions for low cost test and measurement systems to advanced Quad ADC architecture for scopes, data acquisition or guidance systems.

8-bit Analog-Digital-Converter

e2v_8bit_adc

8 bit ADC

Dual 8bit 500MSPS
AT84AD004

Dual 8bit 1GSPS
AT84AD001

Quad 8bit 1.25GSPS
EV8AQ160

The architecture of all e2v 8 bit ADC´s is folding interpolating, this makes them suitable for real time System thanks to a latency of 2.5 clock cycles.

EV8AQ160 is the first Quad GSPS 8 bit ADC .

It features 3 operation modes which are:

  • Quad : 4 channels of 1.25 GSPS each.
  • Dual : 2 channels of 2.5 GSPS each.
  • Single : 1 channel of 5GSPS.

Additional features include:

  • Programmable input bandwidth from 600MHz to 2GHz
  • Fully flexible cross-point switch
  • SPI programming for Gain + Offset + Fine Clock Phase adjustment

10-bit Analog-Digital-Converter

e2v_10bit_adc

10 bit ADCs

Single 10bit 1.5GSPS
AT84AS003

Single 2GSPS  with DMUX
AT84AS004

Single 2.5GSPS
AT84AS150

Quad 10bit 1.25GSPS
EV10AQ190

Up to 4GHz 3db or 2.5GHz 0.5dB input bandwidth and Single core folding-interpolating architecture.

Seriously broadband for the following types of application:

  • High IF sampling
  • Direct sampling
  • Time domain analysis with high harmonics

With the folding interpolating architecture, designers of real time systems Enjoy low latency of only 2.5 clock cycles, which at 2GHz means only 1.25ns of latency.

EV10AQ190 is the 10bit Version of EV8AQ160.

12-bit Analog-Digital-Converter

e2v_12bit_adc

12 bit ADCs

Single 12bit 500MSPS  AT84AS001

The only 12bit 500MSPS which can be driven by a low cost Op Amp without noticeable Distortion.

It is also the one which allows for Gain and Offset adjustment via SPI Software Configuration.
So that you can either interleave several ADCs, or you can compensate for gain drifts vs Temperature and aging of analog front end circuitry.

Power-up and GO !!

Because it is a single core ADC, there is no need to warm it up for 15s and then calibrate before using it.

It provides usable data at cold temperature as soon as the power supply voltage is stabilized.

This is ideal for PWM type operation e.g. pulsed laser measurement systems.   Of course the architecture of AT84AS001 is folding interpolating so that data comes at the output.
In 2.5clock cycles (5ns) instead of 12.5clock cycles (25ns) with standard pipeline ADCs.
