The H8 series provides a wide range of software compatible devices from 32 to 100-pin in different package and memory variants. With super low power consumption, integrated LCD controller / driver and 14-bit ∆Σ AD converter, the devices are dedicated to battery driven or smart metering applications.

H8S, General Purpose MCU for TFT Control With USB

The H8S devices are dedicated to applications where communication and visualization is needed. Especially for cost sensitive TFT control solutions, MSC offers the Visu RDK Starter Kit based on the H8S CPUs. Because of the high performant H8S architecture, it is possible to connect QVGA TFT display without an additional graphic controller direct to the H8S microcontroller. Additional to this, special motor control timers are available.

H8SX, General Purpose and TFT Control Applications

The H8SX is more performant then the H8S. The devices are also equipped with motor control peripherals and provide two separate AD converter channels. With the H8SX it is possible to connect a VGA TFT display with high resolution direct to the CPU without a graphic controller.
