Actel Starter Kits

Low-cost starter kits are a quick and cost-effective way to assess an FPGA technology, without the expense and time needed to design a specialized evaluation board. Unlike a specific technology demonstrator board, which would only be applicable to one application area, a starter kit board contains the FPGA and, for a flash-based device, a programming interface and associated programmer, as well as programming and design software. Actel offers Fusion, IGLOO/e, ProASIC3/E, ProASICPLUS, and Axcelerator Starter Kits.

Each kit is equipped with an Actel device from a particular FPGA family:
